A couple days ago, we had an especially beautiful day in Tennessee - 68 degrees with clear skies and almost no wind. Since my wife and I had been feeling a bit of cabin fever, we got in the GT and took a wonderful drive. The traffic is a fraction of what it has been so driving was even more pleasant. Seeing the trees full of leaves and manicured lawns and blooming flowers and shrubs made the day even better.
So, if you want a brief respite from all the dour news and problems in the world - your Ford GT is the best medicine available!

It's been a while, but I added a flasher for the 3rd eye brakelight. Flashes 3 times, then steady. Under $20 and just a little less likely to get rear ended. At that price I'll take any safety feature going. Available on Amazon.

During spring maintenance, I finally bit the bullet and changed out the dust boots on the rear lower control arms and rear toe links.
More adventurous, I changed out my fuel filter. I hope the dust boots need changing again before the fuel filter.
Now, just going to hit the countryside for some long drives, while we wait for the world to open back up.

Regarding center brake light flashers- I've used this one before. It has a delay feature so your chmsl isn't continuously blinking in stop-and-go traffic and driving the guy behind you crazy.

The father of a high school senior reached out to the car community and said his son's favorite car was the Ford GT and was hoping someone could give him a ride around the block. I told him that I would be honored especially since he missed out on his graduation and senior prom. The always generous H Smith also agreed to open up the Robertson Racing shop for a private tour. I let the kid ride 45 minutes to the shop in the GT and he was so blown away, he couldnt talk. He is going to college to be a mechanical engineer and wants to open up his own custom car shop (specializing in American Muscle). I'm hoping this experience gives him the motivation to follow through on that dream.
Put a motor in the little black stripeless! Great job inspiring the next generation!

Finally got to go for a drive in my white/blue GT, about 250 miles, down to Mt St Helens. FYI 
Eddie Hill's old car is being used well. lol

Today, I ran into this sweet '05 GT at the Orange County gas pumps. Fresh fluid changes and tires and looking showroom fresh!
