I’ve noticed more phones and vids coming out on the road of Ghetto GT, likely recognition of the car from Ford v. Ferrari. Anyone else notice this? No change in nfGT exposure.
I drove it. And they don't melt in the rain. And if you want to get to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow fast, you gotta drive the Ford GT in the rain.
Happy Halloween! Volunteered for a local community parade along with a Back to the Future DeLorean, three Jurassic Park vehicles, local police patrol cars, and perfected the left hand window toss of candy and stickers to 400 homes. Fun times, and they really loved checking the GT out at the post parade show.
Also, a nicely wrapped Lightning McQueen at the show.
Not my neighborhood, but what child doesn't need a parade and candy? I didn't organize it or anything, just got the last minute call asking if I'd be in the parade, so of course, I agreed.
The kids and parents nonetheless seemed really happy and appreciative on what has been an unusual year for many. Just here to help.
Rob, @GT@50 invited me to join in with some other FGT owners for the Ford vs. Ferrari backroads fun-run (my name for the event). We met at Issaquah and traveled some very twisty and very scenic roads to the waterfront town of Edmonds for lunch. Weather was beautiful with plenty of color still in the trees. Guessing it was 35-40 miles start to finish.
5 '05/'06 FGTs and I believe 3 NFGTs were in attendance. The Ferrari guys were super nice and very excited to have us FGT guys there.
Traveling in a pack of 30-35 cars, we often doubled the posted limit on those very fun (and new to me) back roads. The pictures were sent to me by organizer and super nice guy William Howard.
Ha, I did the belly crawl once. Helps that I'm short. Great to meet you and Barbara, can't wait to get more drives in.
Liquid Carbon and Carbon GT

2112's Blue GT w/long tube muffler delete. Sounds PERFECT!!!
A drunk guy passed by my car and said that’s beautiful. I said this is a 15 year old 115 thousand mile ford. He said just shows us old guys know how to take care of things! I wasn’t sure who he was taking to.....
