Once you committed to a five mile walk in 100 degrees... in moto gear, you were 100% in for this little mutt. Good work and glad she’s getting better. I have three mixed breed mutts (two pit mixes). All rescued. Nothing against pure breeds, but these mongrels are hardy

The old saying is that ''no news is good news''. Very much hope that is the case and Abby and her family are doing well.

So far so good with a few challenges. One of the side effects of fluconazole in dogs is it kills their appetite and energy level. It takes some effort to get Abby to eat. She continues to improve though and she actually plays occasionally with Charley’s Corgi puppy who has endless energy and won’t leave her alone. We walk 2 miles a day and she likes that. I really hope these meds can knock the Valley Fever out of her system so I can get her off them. Then she can finally get back to being a normal dog. Time will tell.
