uh oh

What dealer did you take it to Kumar?

Rockwall Ford. By the time I got a proper flatbed, it was almost 4pm so I didnt wanna deal with rush hour.

+ I spoke to Fubar and he wasnt really happy with the new Rodeo Ford and Sam Pack was pretty meh so I figured Id take a shot in the dark.

Let us know how it goes. Rockwall is owned by the same company that owns Dallas Dodge. Once Middlekauf went to Rodeo I haven't heard many good things. Bankston up in Frisco isn't any better from what I have heard but I haven't personally dealt with them. Its getting to be slim pickings as to where to take our cars :(

Simple question, but did you have the oil changed recently? Very easy to make a mess if they didn't know what they were doing. All of it would drip onto the belly pans once replaced.

I would look more to see where the torex came from. Definitely the common fastner on the GT. naturally one from the belly pan would hve fallen on the ground, so needs to be a line support or somethng like that. There are not a lot of places that used a stud or a nut and bolt. Should be easy to find where the nut came from, especially with a guess of size.

Oil change was probably 4-5 months ago. Just called the dealer; no update yet.

Just talked to the service advisor.

He isnt very knowledgeable about the GT but he said "the flange on the halfshaft came loose where they had fixed your car before so we ordered parts for it. They should be here Tuesday and it should be covered one way or another."

Now, I dont know whether to be angry at the dealer that did the recall or if even the upgraded bolts from Ford can break. I couldnt really get specifics out of him since he barely knew what he was talking about.

Pls take pics of all parts replaced and post. Thx!

Service advisor said he will update me on Monday. I will try to take pics before the parts go on. The tech seemed like a pretty smart guy. He has a 7 second drag Mustang.

Funny thing is that my brakes werent working when we loaded the car onto the flatbed. Does that make sense?

In a word - NO.

Brakes not working (properly/fully) with the engine turned off? Yes that makes sense.

Doesn't it?

WE NEED MORE DANG INFO!!! :rofl :cheers

Check fluid in master cylinder again, you never know.

Well, this is a joke. Not only do they not have the replacement parts in yet, the service advisor tells me "we wont know anything until at least Monday."

:rofl
