Typical Canadian GT gathering

Had a GT gathering held up here in Canada and hosted at my car cathedral.
Great visit with Michelle and John from Arizona, Pam and Ollie from Ottawa, Terry and Irene from Toronto and me and Darlene from Burlington.
Michelle and John were up here visiting multimatic and seeing their car in production. They brought Pam and Ollie with them as well.
Great meeting everyone for breakfast and then visiting our home and seeing and talking about all the GTs.

This whirlwind trip promised to be pretty amazing as we were going to see our car in production (in Canada - in February - someone at Ford has a wicked sense of humour!) So we reached out to a couple local kindred spirits and don't you know... what was already amazing became utterly delightful!. Pam and Olli trekked down from Ottawa and did the tour with us. Everyone else met up for breakfast and a trip to Angelo''s car cathedral which was truly fantastical -a work of art in itself, and in the cars collected inside. We have had a wonderful trip and, in typical Forum fashion, the cars were only part of the story. Some other time we'll tell tales of Olli making us trudge 4 blocks in near blizzard conditions to eat dinner at a little restaurant called Peter Pan. And of the Devils on horseback. And of playing Sequence in a space so small we had to rearrange furniture to open the door (I felt like I was in a Carol Burnett skit). Thanks so much to Pam and Ollie, Angelo and Darlene, and Terry and Irene for your enthusiastic support and friendship! This trip was a treat. And my post wouldn't be complete without me mentioning that I hadn't been in snow in 30+ years! Our next trip to Toronto will definitely be when it's green and not white.
