Two Phoenix car shows this weekend...

This Sat the 5th.: Coffee and Cars at Doubletree and Scottsdale Road. Should have 6 or so GTs. 7-11AM.

This Sun the 6th.: Copperstate 1000 rally, start of race. Cool Cars & Hot Eats At Tempe Diablo Stadium on the field. Nice cruise-in show as well. Will have several GTs. 8-12.

Scottsdale C&C

Good show with great weather as always in sunny Scottsdale. Had Camilo's FGT show up with his signature and lipstick print on the nose. Also notice the Bugatti Veyron in one of the pictures.

Great show!!! 350+ cars. Some interesting stuff. Lots of McLarens, 458s, Lambos, SLS AMGs. There was one Enzo & Veyron in the pack. Saw a new Jag F type S version. Gorgeous and priced well. A SLR McLaren as well. Many new C7s. A couple of tesla coupes. One fiskar karma. Lotus this and that. Lots of matte finish throughout. 5 FGTs in attendance. Another two months, then oven time.

Wasn't in town for C&C yesterday, but made it to the Copperstate 1000 start this morning. Always cool vintage cars participating in Didn't see any GTs at the car show held in the parking lot afterwards though.

I was there showing a Black FGT in parking lot. Only FGT there.

There was a nice chap who did have two FGTs from the Midwest, He was driving a gt350 in the rally.

Lots of vets, and off beat older cars in the cruise-in parking lot show. Great weather...food was disappointing. Here are a couple of early morning pics of the rally prestart....

I stopped by the Vegas C&C yesterday. I got there about 9:15 and it goes to 10:00. There were quite a few GT500s, street rods, etc but no GTs. The space allocated is about 1/2 of what we have in the Colorado space but the Co one is only once a month The car will be shipped out probably in June. Once the pool is done we'll spend more time here (unless the CO house is sold by then)

I too was at the Copperstate 1000 start and saw no FGT's either participating in the rally (which they really could not due to manufacture date) or in the relatively small gathering of show cars outside the stadium. Perhaps there were some (or one) early but after the participants in the Copperstate were off, people and cars left pretty quickly.

I wonder what partssmann is talking about?? The attached pictures appear to be the every saturday evening car show at the Pavilion which may have had a GT or two. I have seen Chip and SR71 show up with their cars at that event but was not in attendance this past Saturday so can't say.

Check the link in the first post. Scottsdale Cars & Coffee is held the first Saturday of every month. Pictures are NOT from Pavillions car show which is every Saturday afternoon to evening. Chip cant make the Cars & Coffee event, too early for him LOL.

Must have missed you in the parking lot outside the Copper state 1000. I was parked near the stairs going in to the main entrance.

I'm sorry as well. We need better coordination. I did not see the post until after the weekend event.

I arrived about 40 min prior to the start of the Copperstate and really focused my attention on the cars actually participating in the rally before they headed on their way.

I went to the outside of the stadium after all the rally cars had departed and saw that a number of the outside cars were leaving. Must have just missed you for if I had seen a GT I would have walked there first.
