Mine (appear) to have just broken this am on the drivers side. I pushed the car about an inch and reinstalled the half shaft and drove the 3/4 mile back home @ 1 mph. Is there any update on this problem that I can advise the (unknowing) local dealer about ? Thanks

As the TSB "warranty repair" (where it was fixed for free) is over, you will be buying the hardware needed. You have 2 choices, the ford kit, or the accufab kit. Neither have any reports of failure, that I know of..... Your Ford Dealer will of course put in the Ford parts.

Make sure you post the Ford dealers name here first to see how they rate. Its not a hard fix and anything can go wrong in the hands of an incompetent person.

I am sorry to read that you have to tend to this

It is not scope and magnitude but rather a PITA.

For several reasons I prefer the AccuFab/ARP hardware

All the best
