Always get tons of catalogs at Christmas time and once in a while there is an outrages gift/price that needs shared with others. For the price of this toy race track set up you can buy a top quality REAL race car. PM me if you need my address to ship this to. Merry Christmas

"...a 1:32-scale working wooden slot car track faithful to the iconic Le Mans raceway."

Not exactly. At 1:32 scale, the Mulsanne straight would be 615 feet.

As one of my local car dealers always used to say, "There's an a-- for every seat." The same principle probably also applies to something like this...although for the life of me I can't understand why.

The engineer in you wouldn't let that slide. :lol

Some people have more $$$ than brains...like the guy that designed this and then the marketer who says it is faithful to iconic Le Mans. Not sure anyone could claim that. Me thinks Blake will just have to keep dreamin.. which is better than the nightmares Rene would have if he got one.

That track layout bears no resemblance to LeMans.

:agree:

I saw this in the catalog too. I was shocked at the price then wondered what the person who would drop $125K on this looks like and what meds he's on.

Looks much better with 3D glasses.

Someone's got too much money on their hands...

For what it's worth my experience (limited) with HS is they sell overpriced junk.

I got a tool kit once as a gift in a neat aluminum case. First time I torqued on the screwdriver it failed, blade just broke off. Cheap chromed junk.

They seem to do a lot of marketing though.
