Ole!

That is why the UK show makes it and the US one fails. Can't imagine that being said on US TV without a BIG uproar.

"The presenters then described Mexican food as "sick with cheese on it".

And British food is good? As good as their oral health maybe.

I thought it was funny. Would there be an uproar if they said something like that about Americans? If there was some truth it it, it would be funny too.

Jeremy has said many times that Americans were fat and stupid, yet he loves coming here, it's really all in the act....

I think the UK now has more of the world's best restaurants than just about any other country.... And not all of us have rotten teeth! :). But I agree, national stereotypes are droll.

I don't know about you guys, but I have always enjoyed a plate of Bangers, Mash and a side of Refried Beans swimming with melted cheese.

Or McNuggets or a KFC.... Yummmmm. Cuisine at it's finest. :)

I only eat the crusty skin dipped in melted cheese...:ack

I can't stand fast foods with the exception of an In-N-Out every blue moon.

agreed, BBCs' Top Gear is HILARIOUS...... I wish I could get it in HD because I swear for about a week there, it actually was offered.....
Americans..... scripted...... over sponsored....... blah blah blah blah blah...... Sure, I'd want that job :biggrin but as far as entertainment goes....:thumbsdow
