Even better yet they would be telling their friends and their forum that they actually got to see a FORD GT in person , all of the cars mentioned on this thread with the exception of the GT are pretty common everyday cars around here

That's a near impossibility as most of them have their thumbs up their butts to begin with!!!Has anyone ever got a thumbs up from a Prius?

I've taken my GT to Ferrari of Central NJ for a few events, gets lots of love from other car nuts, the ones that own a Ferrari just for the name and "prestige" aren't car nuts, and could care less about any car that isn't theirs!!!!I've been invited to a Ferrari dealership event tomorrow night. On the two previous occasions that I have been invited to Ferrari debut (California and FF) events, I haven't brought the Ford GT. Didn't want to infringe on their event or look like I was trying to show them up or something.
But, it really shouldn't matter right? A car guy should be a car guy regardless...
Thoughts?
A club gathering or maybe meeting of F owners at a restaurant, I don't think it would be an issue but to an event at Ferrari place of business where hopes are to sell Ferrari's I'd probably leave the GT at home.
I fully agree for the reason stated.
