Interesting.

Thank you for posting.

I didn't see "anyone that drives a BMW, or uses an iPhone on the list. Clearly some have the opinion that people owning those products are of questionable intelligence. Other than that the list is a good one.

You're a trouble making middle child Clinton. Go to your room!

In all seriousness, I had many smart guys that worked for me in my previous company. One guy in particular was a super intellegint Phd. Scientist type, but I have to tell you he was never happy. Thinking back, I should have fired him for the three reasons cited in this article.

Over my mgt career I have had a total of 4 PhD working for me, of which 1 was above average, one was good and the other 2 were fired. IMO, a PhD is overrated when it comes to contributing to the bottom line!

Note those with a PhD are more apt to own a BMW than those without them.

Just a lowely FGT.....

If we followed that article at our company, we would go from almost 400 to less than 5 I believe. :frown If I get my Christmas wish, I'll be rejoining the "for profit" world by the end of the year and buying something with 500+ hp to celebrate.

As I often used to say when I ran a business, "This would be fun if only we didn't have to deal with employees or clients"....
