This…

is a 1970 Albert Blue 911E.

78k miles.

Original California car. Bought from Rusty Cars, LLC Pleasanton CA, in 2014. I’ve put 10000 miles on the car during 10 years of ownership. Affectionately referred to as “Uncle Albert”. The car was cosmetically strong when bought but over time mechanically upgraded with a top end engine rebuild and MFI rebuild. $30,000 in receipts during my ownership. The car runs strong and reliably, having completed the Hill Country Rallye here in Texas the last 3 years. 1000 mile round trip annually in this event.

Reason for selling…I have 9 sports cars and need to thin collection (3 cars leaving) to fund a 1973 Carrera RS 2.7

Numbers matching 2.2 L flat 6. Have COA and clean Texas title.

Link below to original listing when bought. Windows out repaint at that time in correct Albert Blue.

Price: $100,000

Looks nice and price seems fair. Too bad I already have one (1973). Good luck.

Thanks
My reason for selling…
I have a 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 on the way. I’m moving up the long hood food chain 😊

Beautiful car. What else you selling for the 2.7RS?

I traded my blossom yellow RoW 92 964 Turbo 3.6, and sold my 91 NSX. The 964 Turbo market is hot. I got that car at the start of the pandemic. Plus I still have my 964 RS. More pure driving experience. Too many cars, causing me anxiety with service needs and my desire to drive them all. I’m kicking around retiring next year…less is more. Thought I’d consolidate and get the definitive long hood. I may keep the albert blue 911 as a backup.

Nah. If yer gonna buy a 2.7RS, sell the blue 1970. Otherwise, you won't drive the RS much, if at all. As you know, I'm a strong proponent of driving the snot out of one's cars, not saving that experience for the next guy. Like marrying a supermodel...
