This is a great run to be a part of. The US Marines do so much for our great country.

We can give back and have a great time doing it. I no longer have my FORD GT but thought you guys would love to be a part of the RUN. The FORD GT is the only US MADE car allowed on the run.

It is almost all super cars.

My good friend OBI from the Auto Gallery (Ferrari Dealership) is putting it all together for us. He is doing this with his own money and time.

My company is proud to be one of the sponsors for the run. I would love to see 20 + FORD GT's on this run. Let’s see some good old AMERICAN PRIDE GOING.

Here was my BAD BOY. I am in search of getting another one.

Then I went to the dark side for a while. LOL

MODS any way we can make this a sticky until the run is over.

This is for charity and the UNITED STATES MARINES.

These guys come back home with missing legs and arms.

At least we can get in our Super Cars drive to the Marine Base and let these guys check out the cars.

I know we joke and talke about how we love the American Muscle and the FORD GT. So we need to back all the talk up with some power. Show the rest of SO CAL what GT's are all about.

Line up as many GT's as we can on the run and show the rest of the world how it gets done.

Dave,
No reason to sticky. Most folks hit 'new posts' and find any new that have been made since their last visit.
See you have posted it on other sites as well, this time with a picture of the F Car.
I'm sure it is a great charity. I note that the cost for the rally without after party is $200 for two people and then each car makes a mandatory donation of $125.
Since the rally organizer and this event promotes his business and you are not subscribed members (as you are on the site that I found your posts), I see no reason to extend the courtesy of a sticky. If you still owned a F GT or had been a $upporting member my decision might have been different.
Good luck with the event.
Cheers,
Bony

Dave,

Are any of the proceeds being donated to the Wounded Warrior Regiment at Camp Pendleton?

Best Regards,

davefordgt,

We met a long time ago, probably 2 years ago at the Mailbu Shopping Center on a Saturday or a Sunday. I was driving the Tungsten and we cruised up the PCH and introduced ourselves, I believe you were going to CooGiE's for lunch? I will try to make this if I am in town. Live in West LA. Can't believe you let the dark blue go? It was awesome in the sunlight. I even had some "Ford GT" decals made from Sticker City? I think that was the name of the place, also got the 3M coating as you suggested.

Good luck on getting a new GT, check with Shelbyelite on this Forum, they seem to have a good inventory?

Thats an awesome fund raiser. My buddy just shipped off to Iraq for the second time. My other friend is gonna be on his way, but I'm not to worried about him because he is AE-12 (aviations electrician) he will be on a carrier. My friend that is already there is an MP and deals with gun fights quite a bit. GOD BLESS ALL TROOPS PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE.

Bony even though I do not have a Ford GT I would like to donate some money to the cause. How would I go about doing that??

The entire event will be recorded on HD. Will be on TV later on.

Yes we will park all the cars on the base. Like a giant car show for the troops to see.

Dave,

I have received a few requests for clarification regarding how much is being donated to the fund. From the registration form it is implied that the $125 that each car is expected to donate goes to the charity since you folks have defined that as deductble. Is that correct, or are there overhead charges, and if so what amount? From the $95 per person attending the Rally is any of that being donated, if so how much? From the $138 per person post party is any being donated and how much. You advised that your firm was a sponsor, so can we assume that the sponsorship fees cover the events overhead.
Thanks for your reply.
God Bless our troops and America,
Daniel
