Those that have ordered can expect their order to ship in about 8-10 days.
Any new orders - part of the second batch will also be fulfilled but will ship the 3rd week of May!
I am just awaiting additional GT Transponders that have been special ordered.
When your orders do ship a confirmation e-mail will be sent with tracking info.

Thanks!

Key Button Labels are in!

The GT Dome Button labels are in..

Black with White
or
Carbon Fiber Style with White

For the Carbon Fiber lovers - it's the way to go!
Anyone else - probably stick to black!

I will be shipping two labels with each key! (one of each style)
The choice will be one's own!

Thanks

Andrew

I hope it's easy to disassemble? I see a coat of metallic blue in it's future.

Quite Possible! Disassemble tutorial video in the works!

Do not let Andrew be so modest; he has just created an awesome video however I suggested that he not present it because after seeing it folks may have concerns that their key must be disassembled in order to have it cut.

This is not the case as such if you present your key to a shop that states that it must I encourage you to take it elsewhere or have the Ford dealer do it.

As stated; the key is able to be cut as a unit and then once cut the programming process may take a minute and is truly painless.

Now as for disassembling the key and Andrew’s video; the process is easy and the video will walk you through it.

Takes care

For what it's worth, I took the key apart to get it cut. Super easy to do. Did I mention that it was SUPER EASY TO DO?? At the locksmith (wanted to be absolutely sure it was cut accurately), they told me that they DID NOT need to have it out, but it was dead easy to cut that way. So, $5 later, I'm out the door with my beautifully cut, and already put back together, key. Sure, it's easier to leave the whole thing intact, but you're gonna have to learn how to open it to eventually change the battery, so it's all good. Tomorrow I program it to the car. If that step is 20 times harder than opening the key was, it'll still be just about the easiest thing I've done all week. :wink

It's the perfect complement to the car for when you're not driving it. Funny, it's not like I want to show off my key, but I don't quite have that same urge to put my key in my pocket as I used to. :lol

Thanks again Andrew. I'm well chuffed. :cheers

So, I programmed the key and remote yesterday. Wow, all told, taking my time, it must have been less than a minute in total!!! It's no wonder you need TWO keys and remotes, that was ridiculously easy!!! Pretty slick procedure though, beats the heck outta the programming for my other cars.

So anyway, it's GREAT!! Like a good Canadian, all I have left to say is "Beauty eh"

Pro, question is after you had the key cut - why did you wait a day?

I would have done it right away, and probably put 100 miles on!

Another question, for those of us with GT500's or other mustangs, any prayer that these will work for those too? Or the same concept?

Try ebay item 370190767861, may be what you need

Oh shoot, there goes my plastic $295 key-for-d-GT, D'oh. This is waaaay nicer and to add insult to injury only $99 and also from Andrew!! I'm ordering right now!

At this rate we're never going to run out of mods and upgrades for our GTs, not like I'm complaining though:biggrin
