Luke: Please don't mistake what I said. I love the Spf GT40 continuation car. I would LOVE to have one myself. I just prefer the FGT and wouldn't sell mine for one. I know you didn't either from what you said. All the same I would definitely love to put one in my garage.
Do you have a Ferrari? If not or even if you do why would you participate over there when those guys over there clearly come off as a just a little pompous. Don't let what those guys say get you down by throwing knocks at your car about it being a "replica". Fact is while it is a continuation GT40 and not an original SAAC has accepted as an authentic the Safir/Spf GT40. That's all you need to know.
Furthermore, some continuation/current production cars such as the Safir/Spf GT40s and Shelbys while not worth what the originals are worth still seem to be holding value quite well and the only way some of their Ferraris are passing those "replicas" is on the way down in value. Further, if production of continuation cars ever ceases they will skyrocket in value IMHO.
