I see many of you are doing the pulley and tune. Will the tune be a generic tune or each car be individually tuned on a dyno?

A few more days to GT Nirvana...

I'm going with the Heffner Tune. No dyno at this point for me. Later though.

WOW!!!

I am back in the OC. Nothing like driving 500 miles there to establish a baseline. And then 500 miles back with the new Tune, Pulley, Inlet Stiffner and Accufab exhaust.

What a difference!!! More fun times ahead. Thanks Rich, Dennis and Shadowman. More later...

Lots of thumbs up, questions, smiles, cell phone pics...etc.

My new favorite stranger question: (Pointing to the supercharger - Is that the transmission?) Other new questions: Is that a Corvette? Is that a Lotus? What is the percentage composition of carbon fiber/aluminum/composite? Is that the car in Gran Turismo 4? What year? Did you make it yourself?

Thanks GT Guys and Shadowman!

My gal was in the capable hands of the GT Guys yesterday. I can’t praise their attention to detail and professionalism enough. Rich and Denis know the cars so well and it’s a treat to watch them work (Shadowman is no slouch either with a band saw!). The bumper delete looks awesome in person as does the mac delete! The shifter is great and of course the pulley change, who wouldn’t want a little more power! Thanks for all you did couldn’t be happier with the results! Thank you Shadowman for clearing out your shop and hosting the guy’s!

Sandman, congratulations on the new mod. The bumper delete is very impressive, I was in awe of the finished product. Seeing how it blends with the stock parts, yet also has a custom look of the highest level.

Rich and Dennis are so smooth, efficient, and the work flow is non-stop. It's as if the average mechanic is working in slow motion.

Incredible shop Shadowman has also. It was definitely worth the 1,000 miles roundtrip for me. I'm going to go for a short morning drive now before the reality of work sets in.

Thanks for the custom CF console Bony. The guys said that you wouldn't miss it. Don't worry, I left a couple hundred to cover it. You can take that off your list. Heheh.

The wine, women, and pizza were too much for my little heart to handle. I am still recovering... Also just kidding.

And again, after a short drive this morning, I must say, OMIGOD!!! My car has been transformed. It most definitely has an attitude now. I don't know how you guys with the Whipples keep a clean set of underwear.

Just the pulley swap and tune and exhaust (which BTW, they beautifully installed perfectly centered) is plenty fun for me.

The feeling that I got when driving this car before the upgrades was wonderful. Now, it is almost indescribable. Truly a work of art.

Thanks again to Dennis, Rich, and Shadowman. The love and respect they have for all things GT is admirable and contagious. I feel truly fortunate to own and enjoy this car and the camaraderie that has grown up around it.

Hi folks

Yes; yet another very full day and The GT Guys just went to bed down for a few hours.

I have much I could share but the most important part is “THANK YOU”

It has been an extreme pleasure meeting many of you and vicariously participating in the many changes made to your gals by The GT GUYS.

Three more VERY long days ahead and then a bit of a chapter and verse will be shared. For now I too am going to go find a pillow before they arrive with the sun carrying tools in hand ready to tackle another day.

The bottom-line is that for me it has remained a truly wonderful experience.

Takes care

Shadowman

BTW: the Stainless Works exhaust system sounds and looks fricken AWESOME !!! I will get a video clip before the week is over.

A Day with the GT Guys

I could write a small book on the great time I had watching Rich and Dennis work their majic....In short "1st Class".. As the day went on and the parts kept coming off my car ,The smiles just got bigger. The SW headers with cats came alive about 8pm last nite, No words can exsplain the sound, you just have to be there!! I got lost by accident going to Shadowman's shop and got lost going home "on purpose" Bill I can't thank you enough for your hospitality and your attention to detail making sure all the "little things" were spot on. your R&D prior to the installs of new mods makes all the diff.... My hats off to you! see ya soon

What are the dates and the address? I'd like to come by and meet some of my fellow GT owners. I'm not sure if my GTX1 conversion will be complete by the time the GT guys come out - hoope so.
