Several of you have questioned.......''Why we do car stuff even on weekdays....??''
answer .."When the climate dictates that you have only a few weeks of summer per year, we try to "pack-it-in".
Cars are out every day of the week it seems.
Also , for those attending The Henry Ford Event on Thursday July 27th, the Concours d'elegance of America at St Johns is only about 10 miles away.
and....It starts on Friday July 28th and runs thru Sunday July 30th . Visit ''concoursusa.org''.
There is a cars and coffee on Saturday am and Sotheby's Auction and the large car show on the grass Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday Am there is also a GEN5 Viper Seminar for the Viper fans.
Several of us will be on site with our FordGT's , GT350's etc....

Would have gone to both events, but will be on a Canadian Track Tour with friends in the 350R at Calabogie, Mt Tremblant and Mosport.

Wow! Sounds like a great event! Looking forward to the day when I can pick up and leave for such great events in a moment notice! Some call it retirement!!
My wife, Kathy, and I will be at the Henry Ford. And, we are showing our 1965 Shelby 427 Comp Cobra (CSX3006) at the Concours of America.
I will be at the dinner with a couple of co-workers from FCSD. I am beyond excited for this event.
I bought 4 tickets in case it was close to selling out, so if anyone wants to buy 2, I have extra.

I purchased three (3) .. me , Margaret and Ryan. Since three, we plan to just drive down in the F-150, let them valet the truck and not bring the FordGT .
Dave .. you didn't have any special need for my FordGT did you? IF so, I could modify my plans and bring 2 vehicles.

Gentlemen,
Chip Ganassi, Raj, H3, and too many other notable FGT team members to list made this a night to remember. DBK was, as always, a gracious host to a hoard of members who decended on his shop to bask in the glow of six new 2017 GT's. The comment of the night for me was from Ganassi who said, "I knew the story, the cast of characters, and that the Ford GT was a great car. But what I didn't understand or know until last year is the incredible passion that owners and fans have for this car. This sets the GT apart from all others.
