A huge THANK YOU to Dave, and Sponsor Drew (Classic Insurance).

I wonder if the Ford Marketing types ever figured the Ford GT owner demographic would find a common element??

Sexy curves, plenty of power and is great in the track ;)

Thank you very much Dave. My father and I had a great time. Everyone who was there is just awesome!! The finest and most pleasurable people a person could hope to ever meet and hang out with. Got me thinking about Rally VII already.

Oh, I loved every minute of it. It went by too quickly. Danke Herr DBK for an uber time. Hey, you are a family man! I drove to the mountains, I drove on the track, I broke in my new engine, I hung out with old & new friends & enjoyed life. It doesn't get better.

Ed

PS That's Sandman in front of me. The fastest way across Nevada is to follow that crazy man! What a ride!!!

Thanks to Dave and family for their hospitality at Rally 6. I had a blast sans car. Awesome job as usual. The drive on Friday was amazing. Thanks to DBK and JAXGT for letting me ride with them. Thanks to BigInchBlake for the ride on the track. Thanks to the Elite Autos crew for their hospitality as well. Karts were a blast!

Thanks to all of our customers who have insured their pride and joy with Classic Auto. It is a pleasure doing business with each and every one of you. It is great to put a face to a name and to get to know many of you on a personal level.

It was a pleasure meeting some new faces as well and if I can be of any assistance please let me know.

This is a great group of diverse individuals and hats off to DBK for creating a very relaxed forum and Rally atmosphere.

A hugh thanks to DBK and all the behind the scene people that made this Rally happen. Truly a great event!

The folks at MMP where fantastic. What a nice , full service facility. Didn't get to see everything they offered, but am looking forward to next spring and few days of Boss Attack there.

The members of this unique forum are it's soul. Attending a Rally is it's heart.
For an adrenaline rush and to appreciate what the GT was designed for, track time is a must.
Special thanks to Stormcat for the hot lap in his GT, (I had my Boss)... I will definitely have my GT at the next rally.

Meet a great group of people and look forward to seeing them again at future events...

Great Job Dave! Sorry for the late post, but for all intents and purposes, I just returned from the Rally last night. I got back to Ohio early Monday morning, and had to attend to the hurricane relief in N.J., then off to Phoenix on Tuesday for all-day meetings everyday this week. Got home last night, 10,000 miles plus traveled in one week's time. Anyway, we loved the track, the logistics, the food, the friends, all good!!! Can't wait till next year.

A little late, but Thanks for another great rally, Dave!

Plus, it looks like the GT Guys have located the cause of my overheating problem. Another radiator from the factory that that apparently was over presurized causing a dislocation of the fins which significantly impacted air flow. Problem since day one with this one. Look out on the track next rally .. I'll be able to make it more than 2 laps before shutting it down!!

I am not glad this happened to you, but it vindicates me on a very old thread where the same exact thing happened to my car.( and some were skeptical that it could happen..since it had not happened to anyone else)............I drove out of the dealership, and in less than 5 miles the car went into limp mode.....the problem persisted for almost 2 years, as my Ford dealer had a hard time figuring out what was wrong. I gave the car to Bob Ida Automotive, with the instructions of not returning it until the problem was solved.......(.Pictures were posted in an old thread) Apparently Ford had a problem with some radiator caps..16lbs caps holding 32 lbs of pressure, and causing the aluminum radiator to expand in size almost 2 inches all around........seeing it was believing it,,,,after the replacement of both...everything went back to normal and acceptable readings............Although the car will definetly get up there on a track........I can do more laps than most........I have installed Evans Cooler..which absorbs heat more efficiently, keeping it away from the engine..........at 245/250, the car does NOT go into limp mode..and it pulls like a freight train.....

Good luck with your fix......
