It was a really awesome event as many have stated.. Thanks, Dave!

Speaking with Garen on Thursday before the race event, I was extolling the same thoughts as others here regarding ‘how difficult it was going to be to watch the end of such a significant milestone program as the GT.’

Garen turned to me and in his manner of fact style said, ‘we came here to see the sinking of the Titanic, and it isn’t going to be any different that you had expected.’

If anyone saw it more clearly,I don’t know who it is, hats off on that one to Garen. - Saying it the way it is, instead of how we might like it to be.

A good send-off to a great car, the respective design & development teams, race drivers and Ford Management who took the risk, and approved the program.

To add: if you didn’t make it to LeMans in 2016, you-really missed a page of Ford history. Perhaps we’ll get to see it one more time, if for no one else, for Garen.

Thanks Dave for organizing yet another fantastic rally. I have met so many great friends thru this forum and it only continues to get better and better. I'm a member of many car groups and clubs, but I can honestly say that my best car buddies are members of this Ford GT group. The Ford GT race program may have recently ended, but I have a feeling that this iconic group of Ford GT enthusiast's will continue to grow and thrive for many years to come. Can't wait to see and experience what gatherings and events will be in store for us in the future. Thanks again Dave for your passion for this great American product named "Ford"
