Anyone have an issue with half or all of your the tail light out? Any fix other than a new Ford module which seems to be quite pricey...
Thanks !

Just to be clear, which model year are you inquiring about?

I had several issues with my taillights as did other vehicles.
My vehicle is a 2017 , one of the first 100 vehicles built.

As Frank notes , the vintage/build date/model year is important in determining the root cause.

Thanks for the replies...it is an 2018 - built late in 2018
Both lights are half out, and was told its the module which is quite pricy per side.

I would contact the Ford GT Concierge .
Have your serial number ready.

From what you describe it is the module.

The new modules revised the sealing design that prevented moisture from entering
and corroding.
Several vehicles had modules replaced with new design…(mine was one of them)

Back then it was under warranty.
Not surprised they are expensive.

Hello Bornn66, I just finished up a 2021 Ford GT with the left side Tail lamp not working and had to replace the tail lamp module. In the early cars I would see a lot of them but have not seen any on the later model years until i got this 2021. I know the cost is high and took me 2 months to get the part. Since it's an led light I could not find any other way to fix it. Wish I could have been more help.

Thanks all !!
Really surprised at the cost of these. Was also told that the leaking steering box would need replaced at a cost of over 30k parts only …. Has to be the worlds most pricy steering box ever 🤔🤔

Are you running all this through the Concierge? Best to get them involved. How many miles on your car?

Hello Bornn66, I agree with Frank, call the concierge and see if they can offer assistance. The last steering Rack I looked up was about 45k so 30k seems to be at a deep discounted price. Good luck.

It seems unusual that a newer car, would require that repair and that the cost would be so high. Particularly when it’s something of a known issue ..
I own other super cars that I’ve repaired at much less cost and with more factory support. I’d love to speak with a Concierge but don’t have one as I’m not the original owner.

Bornn66, you don't have to be the original owner to contact the Ford GT concierge. There number is 833-367-3481. If you dont mind me asking, who is servicing your car? Is it a Ford GT servicing dealer? They should have this type of information for you if they are. As for the cost of parts....low production cars have always had a higher price cost due to the low volume of parts produced.

Makes no difference if you are original owner or not. Concierge number is 8333673481. Presumably you have taken the car to a certified Ford GT service facility. How many miles? Regardless, you are out of warranty. Why didn't the original owner have repairs done under warranty?

They have two people who field most of the problems. TJ and Heather. Very nice and very helpful, as much as they can. Remember, calls are recorded. Have your whole VIN number ready. You should ask where is the closet official Ford GT service center. Your location is given as Annapolis, but you can ship to the best new GT expert Italian Joe in Detroit at Milliken.
