During these tough and unusual times in our lives with everything changing on an hourly basis your friends mean so much to you. Yesterday I was surprised by a very close friend from Longview, Texas when he sent me a hide from Carroll Shelby’s (Tuli) breed heard as he purchased all of the animals on his ranch in East Texas when Carroll passed away. He has a great Shelby collection and was one of the last people to visit with Carroll when Carroll was able to travel to his ranch before he was hospitalized in California. Carroll’s ranch manager drove him to Longview and he spent three hours visiting and seeing his collection. It was sent to me to display at my building but Sue said “He’ll No, it’s too beautiful to be put in your building, it’s going in our bedroom and will match my colors perfectly”. So under my chair it went and we love it. Wow, what a surprise. This friend just took delivery of one of the first 2020 Ford GT’s delivered in January. I am so Blessed to have many wonderful friends who really care. That’s what Friends are for! One of One just like my 2017 Ford GT. Now I have a treasure straight from my buddy Carroll and can enjoy it every time I sit in my chair.
