I have purchased an upgrade supercharger pulley and exhaust muffler from Ford Racing.
Anyone had any experience with these upgrades?
Have the Ford Racing supplid flash tuner for the upgrades and plan to instll after the first of the year.
Any good/bad comments about the upgrades?

You can likely read a lot about this using the search tool within the Forum.

In summary, a very good mod that will yield typically 75-100 HP at the wheels which is obviously discernable in the seat of the pants.

Virtually no downside to this upgrade. The car will start, run, idle, drive in stop & go traffic, the same way it does today. You will simply have more juice when pressing the go pedal.

For install, the SC needs to be removed and the front of the SC snout removed from the SC. A specialized pulley puller is needed to pull the OEM pulley off. A press is needed to press the new pulley on the shaft. A properly sized dowel should be used so that the end shaft of the SC is EXACTLY flush with the pulley. This will insure that the belt is aligned when the SC is back on the car. You will need Ford SC oil to re-fill the snout after re-assembly.

Hope that helps.

Blake,
Do a search and you'll find a bunch of discussion about the FRPP upgrades. I think I've only seen happy people. Good luck with your new found power and nice to see you joining the fun!

Congrats! You'll love the car stock or modded...btw its great when your first post is about addding HP. :biggrin

I did this exact mod. about 8 weeks ago. Ford pulley, tune and Ford racing exhaust. Done at Walsh Motorsports in Wixom.
Only good things to say!

The HP at rear wheels is 612 hp
The torque is 571 ft-lbs
The exhaust note is only slightly louder
The exhaust tips are beautiful
The muffler 'can' looks much better.
Still all Ford. Be sure to keep the stock parts.
Car is now in Winter storage :(

You feel my pain. 17 degrees and windy here tonight. Need to stay 'in-state' until my daughter finishes her education. :)

High 20's in the CA Bay Area tonight. Probably even colder in Shadow-ville.
One pays dearly to live in this part of the country. I want a refund!
