Enclosure

The enclosure is fabricated (I think) out of particle board and then sealed on the inside with fiberglass.

I suppose the box is 1/2 MDF. Can you give me the outside dimiensions?

Thanks.

Yes they are MDF

The exterior measurements are varied to compensate for the floor versus bulkhead angle it is as the reult of this that patterns and templates were made so sharing measurements would be of little value without a set of drawing how it was designed to fit into the specific location.

If you are intending on fabricating one "be certain to consider" the fact that the subwoofer by design likes a sealed box and the pulse depth is important.

All the best

I will send you a PM with my contact details and a Fedex payment Monday for overnight delivery. I have spoken with ACRJoe, who lives close by, and decided to do the Mac sub retrofit. Thanks for all your work on behalf of all interested on this forum.

Hey Guys,
I have something in the works that you may interest you guys making this conversion. Instead of buying those leather covered center console / storage untils from Ford How would you like to have a Carbon Fiber unit with some other cool options? The Std. Black CF will match the look of the seat backs. We are also looking at the Silver Carbon which would compliment the silver center console and brighten up the interior. These surfaces will be much easier to clean and maintain. I would like to get some feed back on who would be interested and what color you would prefer. If this interest you You my want to wait a few weeks before placing an order for a factory unit. Thanks, Brian

Brian-

I am after a stock look. I guess I can't really explain why though...

Already received my Ford no-Mac center console anyway. I'm sure the carbon fiber would look great next to the CF seats.

My 2 cents FWIW.

I like the CF concept and the fact that there's yet another option out there to consider. With that said, OEM appearance and the ability to quickly return the car to 100% stock were fundamental tenets of the project, as defined by Shadowman and I.
