Gentlemen,
At the Texas Mile, Tim Cantwell's Stillen front splitter folded under the car at over 150 MPH and ground part of itself off on the ground. This part does not appear to be sturdy enough for high speed aero forces. Tim and his son are very competent when it comes to installation and maintenance work so I am sure that his Stillen front splitter was properly installed. Perhaps Tim can weigh in on this. The elongated rear diffuser should really only be used on GTs with a back bumper. On bumper delete cars it appears to stick out way too far. All the best.

Chip is correct, and very complimentary of my skills. However, I have to admit that I did not install it properly. If you look at the photos of the fasteners in the Stillen catalog photo, you will see that the fasteners are staggered. I opted to run fewer fasteners and did not stagger them, hence the failure. The splitter survived the "fold-over" well and I now have it installed properly. I also added a bead of black silicone adhesive to the rear to make a complete, bonded seal. It has no chance of folding now. I have run it at three different race tracks with the new installation with the rear diffusers and they work well. I will have the white/blue car with these spoilers at the Rally this week to run at Miller. I think they work well!
