With the 3.9 ratio 220 MPH is easily achievable:eek
For the guys that are concerned with the 0-200+ times. With the 3.9 gear ratio the car will actually achieve 200 MPH quicker than with the 3.3 ratio.:eek

I assume these projections are based on a stock car?

It would be interesting for somebody to do a 0-120 or 140 run before and after with same tires and same road.

It seems like a big change for a 20% shorter diff.
I did a 315 to a 345 diff change in 2000M5 and the change was very noticable for 10%.

With a 20% change the response to the GT in the revs below 4k will be unreal, now traction WILL become an issue when boost is "ON" when it's long legs normally would have kept traction as an no issue when pushing hard from low rpm's.

Squirt and go in RPM's fromt 1,500-4,000rpm will be crazy good 20% more torque put to the ground in the 390
But those are the RPM's that 99% of GT's live in, so a good feeling to run through the gears.

I would love a shorter dif in my 04 Gallardo.
