Boy, I've been following this thread for a while now. A few thoughts' first, every collector car goes through cycles, the time to buy is in the low end of the cycle. Second, yes GT prices are flat to down, so what, see my first point. Lastly, there seems to be a lot of confusion around the terms "MSO" and "New". To me, a truly new car is one with the MSO in tact, 20 miles or less and still at the original selling dealer, i.e. Never owned. So there may be a few left but not many. The rest are unused or little used pre-owned cars. Either you want a car to drive or you want a show/collector car or maybe even a little of both. Nothing wrong with however you view your GT, just enjoy it for whatever makes you happy. I believe the 05/06 GTs will continue to do well over the long term...a big V8, a stick shift, no electronic nannies, easy to drive and classic/timeless lines. Yes, the technology is already dated and soon to be further dated by the new GT, but the 05/06 will always stand out as a magnificent car for enthusiasts and collectors. Prices will fluctuate like any collector car. Enjoy the ride my friends.
