WOW..........That is different!!!! I've never seen that type of lugnut used on the rear wheels of a GT before!!!!

Most of the really hot Ford GTs have "yellow" springs on their Penske shocks. :biggrin

Look like ya have been busy Neil..... That bracing look extensive. Did you find twisting occuring?

What are the two cans for mounted on each side of the bracing toward the front of the engine if you don't mind filing us in...



BTW - there is a market for the old "billet'd" control arm.... I'll start the bidding at $10 USD! :rofl

The springs look stout on the NZ car, are they 300lb?

Just noticed the exhaust..Coming out the side..

The two cans are engine breathers as I don't need oil in the intake as it causes detonation.


The spring are 600lb on the rear and 500lb front with custom valving in the penske dampers, also they are 2 inches shorter then STD,

Yes it comes out both sides 4 inch twin system, we have had lots of different systems on the GT, she has a bad habit of blowing them apart from pressure waves and heat when doing 4 and 6 hour races we have a 96 DBA noise limit at all our race tracks:cheers

nz05.......Them there tires r difernt 2. Tread on the inside, weird pattern on the outside.

They are michelin pilot sport cup tyres 345/35 19 rear and 265/35 18 front.
the out side is allmost a slick with hole in it as it takes all the load when racing:cheers
