Here I am, carefully stitching up the final threads on the Famous Sims Ferrari Slayer patch, that is found permanently adhered to all members of my family...

You are far braver than me. I could not do the task without cringing or fainting.

But it dosen't look like it bothered little "LeMans Design"....Cheers !.

Don't forget to bring some cigars to the Rally

When I saw the cutting of the flesh during the C-section, and it started to smell, I quickly moved back at least 5 feet from the operating table.

I think the full smell combined with the sight together would have brought me to my knees, with the same hard impact of someone getting gurney'ed by a GT door...

Mom and Baby are doing great. I've been sleeping in the hopsital room on the couch/bed, but have "work-release" for a few hours of meetings tomorrow.

New-born

George Costanza wanted to name his boy 'Seven' to honor of Mickey Mantle.

Why not 'Two' for your second child? It fits!

Second Child
The number of the first GT to win LeMans was #2
It was a BLACK GT...only side stripes.

Winner, Le Mans, car #2
Drivers: Chris Amon, Bruce McLaren

Destiny is written all over his birth certificate!!

'Duece' if you want a variation.

Congratulations!!!

When my first was born, the doctor did a C-section also. The doc was a good friend of the family. He not only let me watch from his end of the table, but he showed me my wife's "insides" while he had her open (after my son was out safely). I thought I would have fainted, but actually I found the whole thing interesting.

Wow, and I get nervous when I see a band aid box. Congrats again.
I guess you have ruled out the name, "BONY"?

My 3 year old is DEFINITELY not interested in sharing seat time with anybody...

It'll be interesting in a couple years...When they start fighting over the GT...Guess I will have to find another GT, to be fair...

Wow, it is just a few short weeks away!

That was a really great Cars and Coffee, it was like a planned event - with all the GT's and Camilo and DBK there. Fun times. I imagine the Rally is going to be top notch! Hope to be able to make a few events!

I've already got both parents coming down to help with the baby during some of those rally days. Hopefully building up some of my credits with the wife by staying over nights in the hospital and most of the day except for work meetings.

Randy,

You'll need two more GTs, one for each boy, and you!

So I am sitting here at the SAAC - 32, Shelby American Automobile Club annual 4 day convention at the Miller Motorspeed Park in Tooele, Utah and I run into a GT owner and fellow forum member, Ralphie. Lives in Mammoth Lakes, Ca. Drove his GT across Nevada to attend. Had a great chat, he will be at the Rally, does nice personal detailing! Got all the bugs off his GT and it looked awesome.

Thanks Todd! Just got home this afternoon. After essentially 5 days in the hospital I can say that I presently no longer have dreams of renting an RV and living in it for weeks at a time.

Good to be home.

Funny, the medical devices delivery person saw the GT in the garage, and asked me "don't those things cost like $500,000?"

I said, much much less. Which is true, plus I'd hate for people to think I have a half million dollar vehicle stored at my house.

Not the first time someone has seen the car and asked if was $500K.

Speaks well of the car and its "presence."
