Nice seeing and meeting new folks and good friends. Even though it was one of our shorter cruises, the weather was perfect and the scenery was great. These were the only decent photo's I took. I know others took much better ones that I hope they post.
Kevin did a great job of organizing the drive! We had quite a few people there, and in addition to lunch and a couple of stops for photos of our cars, we also spent some time over at Kendall's place admiring the Boss 302, Kelvin's GT, and all Kendall's tools.
I did not take as many pictures as I usually did because I was preoccupied... The BEST part of the day was turning the key, pushing the start button, and hearing the most lovely of sounds coming out of the twin turbo GTX1. Yes, Rick (Shelby18) was kind enough (and brave enough) to let me be his chauffeur on the drive. :biggrin He has instantly become my favorite person, and I had no problem replacing Ralphie with Rick for this drive. :banana
Here I am before the drive. I am still wearing the GT grin. :biggrin
O.K. MJ Now I'm not THAT bad with the camera. I'm pretty sure there is more to that picture than just hands. Anyhow isn't Shadowman the official hand model for the forum?
You are a fine driver behind the wheel. It was my pleasure being your co-pilot!
Ralphie loved his new LeMans present so much from AtomicGT (Eric) that he changed shirts in the car (you can't see the entire thing from here, but it has the track on the left side and flags on the right).
Pictures from Kendall's place. (I finally got my Hawaii license plate for the travel blog!)
