I purchased the banner from Paul this week, and I need some help with the signatures please. Not to sound too stupid, but I don't know who many of these people are, what their titles were, or what they did on the Ford GT Project. Some I know from articles, but for clarification I'm going to ask about them anyway.

In the top right:
There is a signature of Fred Goodnow and someone else??? G...Paul Silba?

In the bottom left:
Jamie Cullen, Mark Caputo, Gene Martindale, Chris Theodore, Mark McGowan, Bill Clarke, Mike Sulli...???, Hu??? Z???, Jeff Walsh?, Kip Ewing, Kenne?? G???.

In the top left:
4???? (no idea), Camilo Pardo.

In the center right:
Steve Saleen, ??? ????.

Thanks Guys!

Sorry, I tried like hell to upload photos, but could not get them resized, so here is the link to the photos on the eBay listing... Sorry.

Fred Goodnow is the top one in you pic, Saleen is the middle right (mine too), Yes Jeff Walsh is correct. Out of the box Saleen and Camillo signed them all, after that, it was up to each individual.

All I can help with. I had mine framed, and look at it every day, THANKS, yet again, super B for doing these! That was a great idea!

I sent the pic to some people at the SVT office to see if they'd recognize the rest.

Thanks, Dave for sending that off. And thanks to Gerry & Specracer for your help. Can anyone explain in slang terms what some of these people did. For example, I think Mark McGowan was the test driver that drove the car at Nardo to the 212MPH world record. Chris Theodore oversaw the entire program...Kip Ewing oversaw the prototype and launch of the GT Program...

And, Specracer, mine has been sent to a special framer in Los Angeles that specializes in "archival framing". Framing with special materials that preserve the document in the best possible way. The Library of Congress uses a similar system along with some other document museums. The banner is in good hands and will never be sold again. I have many other rare items for the GT framed in the same fashion in my Garage. Can't wait to get it up!

It is sad that some/many of the people involved with the GT program are not with Ford any longer. Also the Wixom plant was rated No. 1 for safety and quality, but was still shutdown. That is the nature of business. I have been layed off twice and each time a saw it coming, so I moved on and soon after I was better off professionally, emotionally, and financially.

I wish the best of luck to Ford GT team. They should be very proud of their contributions to the GT project.

I wish I could have gone to meet all these people. It sounds like it was the opportunity of a lifetime. I seriously doubt all of them will ever be back in the same place at the same time again. Unfortunately my son has cancer, and at the time of the Forum meeting he was going through some pretty difficult chemotherapy treatments. My wife told me to go ahead and go, but I just couldn't leave him at that time. What's more important is that the doctors think he's "out of woods" now, and he should be OK.

Wow archival grade? Whoa, I just went to a frame shop, hope it at least lasts my lifetime.

3 individuals I can help a bit with, and hope I get this right, Jamie was primarily involved with the brakes, both development, engineering and testing.

Jeff had the privilege of primarily being a test driver.

And Mark, not only was one of the overseeing engineers, but he was also as most know, the top speed test driver. He is one of something like 30 in all of Ford cleared to drive a car at those speeds. And on top of all of that raced a specracer a few years ago.

How do I know all of this? Well at the rally I unlocked the column to winch in the car, but it was on accessory, and killed the battery, and Mark, and Jamal, were the ones to help me. Mark rolled over his Windstar and jumped the GT. We chatted several times after. The dead battery was a buzz kill when I got there but wound up being a blessing to be able to meet these folks.

Hope I got it straight.
