I remember X2 builders had them for $1800 for a set. I waited waited waited, and then they were gone. Never got them, snooze you loose, as you say, "should've" Luckily I have 3 3/4 sets of option wheels.

X2 sold everything to BMF if I am not mistaken. There are still some on eBay. Search for Ford gt supercar

I bought a set of the base wheels direct from the dealer a couple years after getting my '06 since I thought it would be fun to run them when everyone was running the BBS forged.

So, I've been running them for the last few years. About ready to go back to the BBS forged, but plan to keep the standard set. When I saw the prices of the BBS forged optional wheels, I realized I should have bought a spare set of those too!
