Shadowman and Kip's "VERY" cool Double Din

Double DINS

Hi John

The Pioneer Z 110BT is a direct fit

Takes care

One important thing to consider about Pioneer Z series is the voice control.

You just talk to the system and it does what you want it to do.

It does have it's limitations.
I don't think it will respond to "Give me a Heffner twin-turbo now please..."
The Bluetooth phone directory will respond to "call Shadowman" I suspect....

The Z3 also has accelerometers so you can display your G forces on the screen while you drive. To bad it doesn't log them so you can display the G history. I guess not a replacement for my Driftbox.

how cool would it be to have a dd head units with a built in vbox:thumbsup

If you're not going to get a hand model, how about wrapping your fingers with blue tape?

Anyone know which wire harness adapter works on the GT? I am sure its the same radio plugs from another ford model....

Kip,
Got the double din today and it looks great. I bought a Pioneer Avic z3 and a Kenwood DNX8120. I am going to see which one I like the best and install it. Yep I know it was designed around the Pioneer, but if the Kenwood fits then great. Shelby I would like to know the same info on the plugs too! :banana

My local dealer sells them to me for $1450. Retail is $1900 I think. There are a few on ebay a little cheaper, but beware as 90% of electronics on ebay are refurbs, stolen, etc etc and then if you have a problem customer service is ZERO!

I bought mine from Pacific Stereo thru Amazon for $1274 + $25 for 2 day shipping.

Very fast - 3 days in hand.

Note, there are cheaper ones on Ebay, but buyer beware.

I am with you. I learned not to buy on-line because if you have any problems with the unit its a nightmare trying to get anything done about it. That is a good price though....

$1450 is a good deal Shelby - especially for peace of mind. :agree:
