*** UPDATE ***

The Hot Buttons will "all" be shipping this week.

I would rather not have to share any excuse for the delay however there were two situations that arose;

1. Because of the production demand the shaping tool used for the process was improved
2. Andrew had a personal issue that (if shared all would understand) that needed tending too asap.

With this having been shared I was told that emails went out to all updating the situation however many were returned through the proverbail Spam filter which is why I am malking this post.

Please hang in there just a short time longer and to a person you will have your Hot Buttons in your gals well in advance of the Rally

Shadowman - thanks for the update. I've been anxioiusly checking the mail. And my neighbor, "Team Jeff" has been waiting for me to install before he orders. Now I know.

Look forward to meeting you, "the legend" at the Rally in Vegas.

*** Update ***

I was informed by Andrew yesterday that the bulk of the "Hot Buttons" were migrating towards their owners at that time and the remaing will be leaving on Monday.

Thank you all for the kind words and patience.

Got'em today!!

Love'em.......they just pop right in.....some easier than others but I think thats due to an inconsistency of the seats...not the units.

I think I'm going to get them tomorrow, I cant wait, by far this is one of the best mods for the car, and its because of this forum that we get to have cool ideas like this come to fruition. This forum is great!

IHMO the seat buttons are the best looking accessory one can add to the GT at any cost! :thumbsup It should have come from the factory this way. The second best is looking at the polished Whipple though the back window.

Yeah, with the Whipple, either polished or black wrinkle coated, the owner can just look in their rear view mirror and see other people's seat buttons anytime they want. :wink

Since I don't have the cajones for the Whipple, I will be happy to get the seat buttons.

No cajones needed, just a well behaved right foot and a lighten wallet.

:agree: Well, I delivered my Baby to the airport yesterday and she'll be flying out to LAX today. Kendall will be installing the Whipple, seat buttons, more Kip CF, new shoes and other goodies. I can hardly wait for the Rally.

Got them today also. They do make a huge difference in the look. Camilo's head is going to explode until I get some for his car. I can already tell why Ford left them out though, because there's gonna be a lot of molten metal ass burns for those in super sunny states

Oh, it's metal? Didn't know that. All of the Mandalay guests next month will be wondering why there's a bunch of guys and gals walking around the casino with red circle welts on their okoles (buttocks in Hawaiian).

:rofl:rofl:rofl

Altho to be fair to Andrew, one should also read the FIRST POST from Shadowman on this very topic where he states "As for whether they will collect heat while the gal sits in the sun during a hot summer day; IMO no as I have placed them in this environment and I can sense no greater heat at them when compared to the rest of the seat. I feel that this is because of how thin they are and because they are wrapped around the OEM plastic button as such as heat is drawn away from them; a built in heat sink of sorts."

Still DBK, pretty funny post!! :lol
