Any idea why it took so long to build?

Perhaps small dealer small town not very high on fords pecking order. but it was worth the wait and the dealer service has been excellent. Thanks for the help quikdraw. PS the last Porsche I ordered took 5 and a half months and was one of the last built of the aircooled. 12 months seems ok when you get a great car. FLY GT40:thumbsup

Quickdraw not sure if this is the right thread but I've been trying to chase down my rotation number and red windshield sticker for a few months now for my Canadian car #1955. The original dealer did not sen it the turkey and can't seem to find them. Now I did finally get through to Cathy at the GT hotline. She was GREAT!!. Told her what I was looking for. Most people have confused my request with the the "window" sticker--not. Anyway on Friday she was able to track down and get me my rotation number and sticker. The R number is 3874. She is still trying to track down the other sticker and number. Now is there anyway through your magic and crystal ball you could find out the top sticker windshield number?
It would be much appreciated and thank you in advance. Let me know if you need any other info of the car to assist in your search.
