I am sad to report I will not be making it to the SEMA show this year. I was hoping to continue the lobby efforts for a Carbon Ceramic Rotor Kit for the GT.

About a month ago I contacted Stop Tech Head engineer Steve Ruiz to see what happened to our GT rotor kit. He told me that there was not enough interest from our group. The funny thing is the sales guy ( Jeff Ritter ) they appointed to give them feed back from us owners made 3 posts here early in the process.

Jeff Ritter the sales guy is no longer with Stop Tech. Steve said they base their product decisions on feed back from the sales guys. I told Steve that Jeff never checked in our site or gave us any info , they let it die on their end. He said the engineering was done but the market was not there?? It might be worth the effort to see if Steve Ruiz is at the Stop Tech booth. If he is and shows no sign of interest in finishing the project It might be worth while to contact the Brembo guys. ??? Bony can you carry the torch?? ...:biggrin

FYI Stoptech was purchased by Centric Brake.

Dino Crescenti is the owner CEO of both now. He is a solid car guy with many track days and SCCA rookie of the year 2004. He is the guy to find.

crazy! a local detroit guy I knew had the same name died a few months ago in vintage racing. Seems to be a case of "same name/ different person" Dino was a great guy, RIP.
