Lol. Exactly what I did for the TG TV filming! Used a little black stick on stationary dot.

I'm no stranger to the SCT thing here. I've dealt with 3 diff well know US tuners covering all of my svt cars. First off I no longer believe in off the shelf tunes, especially here with the fuel differences. In every mail order tune I've had They have run too lean in my cars. Plus in all cases my tuner has started with a base file from the US tuner, in this case MMP. Regardless of my rich fuel and yellow light scenario, my car has run without hitch. It has also been run hard for those who remember the Oz Top Gear seg my car was on. I appreciate all the concern but as I've said many times in the past to folks on various forums, you can't always overlay the US experience with what were doing here. Just as much as I've also told guys here not to reinvent the wheel in tuning US cars here.

A further clarification. My tuner was reading the comments here and emailed me. He wanted to point out that the codes I passed on were *examples* of ones which trigger the yellow light. I should have gotten him to specify that when I posted them. As he put it he gave them to me "for the benefit of the other 'guy', to give him somewhere to start he did not seem to be getting much help." He also specifically noted that the codes provided did not apply to my car. As with my earlier comment about probably needing to wait till the 4.0 Whipple is on before being able to hook up the car and check the actual codes, it seems that is still the case.

I've got a yellow light on now - post Whipple 4.0 Litre install. I will plug the tuner in tomorrow and get the codes. I've had a few problems with the alarm de-activating the fuel pump so it may be that which caused the light but lets see.

I'll be interested to see what codes you get also. I should have my 4.0 here fairly soon, if MMP ever get around to shipping it out.

OK - so I plugged in the Diablo Predator tuner that I got from Whipple.

On start up of diagnostics is says ..." Fault codes P0602, P0605, P1211 and P1690 are normal for tuned vehicles"

So I ran the diagnostics and it came up with these codes:

P1000 - which I think just means the OBD had been used?

P1233 &
P1234 - both of which are to do with the fuel pump module and I think were caused by my alarm issues. (Hopefully resolved soon)

and

P0602 - which the predator says "normal for tuned vehicles"

I cleared the fault codes and we will see what happens when I next take it out for a run??
