I always try to stay at the Soho Grand when in Manhattan - very nice hotel.

In New York that's called "Standing"...........not a ticketed offense......as long as the driver is in the car...most Officers will just give you the "Move it"...............

Many cities have that policy, but, around here that just wouldn't 'fly'! (Especially if "my favorite local LEO" saw it...:frown)

Depends on where, most places will just let you move on, but in those places that don't, keep a careful eye out for LEO and leave before they get within range.
