I wouldn't say there were no incidents but I didn't advertise mine as I'm less than proud of it. Heading out to College Station on Highway21 I 'kissed' a guardrail at a rather high rate of speed while reaching for a water bottle in the passenger seat. As I've said before its a car and susecptable to damage if you drive it at all, expecially at speed as Fubar demonstrated.

Bigs, at least the wax is good enough to tell Shelby's car is parked next to you......

I took a rock to the windshield on the way to TWS. Under the passenger wiper. Over the next few days a single crack started up the windshield. Now I get to go through the process of a replacement. :ack
I'm spooked about having someone take off and replace the front fenders. :willy

Have Shadowman, Kendall, or fly the GT guys out to do it. It'll be fixed right - and you'll be able to relax!

I am saddened to see that.
I would get stormcats bottle holders, they are really trick.
I do agree with having the Gt Guys doing the repair.
No worry your gal will be like new soon.

Freddy,
I'll probably have Kendall do it as he is 40 minutes away from where I live, but I appreciate your message all is good now. I'm going to go with the clear film also. :thumbsup

Bigs,

That's as good an excuse as any to get Kip's CF scoops!! :banana I love mine! They look great on yellow cars and would look GREAT on your Tungsten GT. In the photo below taken at the Texas Mile I have tape accross the leading edge and bottom of my scoops to protect them from damage.

First of all ....thank goodness no one was injured!

Best thing is that they can be repaired.

As Biggs found out with one hand on the wheel, the p.s. is really sensitive to "minor" input.

Had mine going the wrong direction on the race track @ 110. Fortunatly, for me at least, the brakes work really good no matter the direction the nose is pointed. The only damage was to my not so clean shorts and an extremely elevated heart rate.

Please be careful and safe out there in GT land.

I got one too, Kevin - on Saturday after the Rally on my way out to the Hill Country to visit friends - bummer! Also picked up about a #12 sheet metal screw in the right rear, but Discount Tire fixed it (for free).
