Retro Ford GT badge help?

Hello all.

I noticed Tomy Hamon had a cool Ford GT badge on his now-sold FGT that I have not seen anywhere else. The Ford letters are red and it has a blue G above and T below. It really is a cool look, and I am hoping to learn where to find one. Even Google struggles with this query, last I checked.

I also noticed the new owner has removed the badge in the photo of Tomy's car with his two red ones. Hope it is in a place of honor if it no longer remains on the car, because to me, it looks fantastic.

Asked Tomy who kindly wrote me back saying it was part of a group purchase from the U.K. perhaps a decade ago. He even tried to locate the receipt for me, but no luck. How kind and generous. This board is truly comprised of so many great people. Tried searching this forum so as not to ask everyone, but I came up empty.

Any ideas out there? Thanks so much.

I bought a couple of these 4 or 5 years ago from a guy out of Australia on E-Bay.

They were actually reproduced for an Australian made car I believe.

Tomy's had been repainted.

I'll have to dig through my file, but should still have some info on it, I save everything related to the GT. :biggrin

Whoa! Thanks for all of your links, Howard. I had no idea one of the coolest badges for your FGT might have originated in a Falcon! I just love the look.

the badges come in black with a redish orange insert but can be easily stripped and finished in the color you prefer since they are a chrome plated casting

How are guys affixing the badge? The post are pretty beefy and don't fit through the grill mesh.

not sure what the issues would be on mounting. here is a badge mounted on a spare rear license center grille.
the badge comes with push on clips from the back.
