I took my girlfriend's 12 YO son and 3 of his friends to see the movie last night; they rated it 8 to 9.5. The cars and girls are hot and very easy on the eyes.

While the acting is mediocre and the story line barely intelligible, some of the car scenes are pretty cool, while others are poorly edited and pretty chopped up. The movie opens with a shot of a blue GT followed shortly thereafter by a GT racetrack scene.

The coolest thing ..... coming home and seeing one of the stars of the movie sitting in my garage!

"Story line"? pppppppppppt! I'm going to see it for the CARS! (And the babes. But, if anyone asks, I never said that, okay?).

The guy that produced/distributed the flick lives just down the street.

His home and the street seem to be packed full of some very cool cars. I haven't seen the film myself but will probably buy the dvd when it comes out to confirm my suspision that the cars in his film are the ones from his "collection".

My wife and I went to see Redline when it opened and were disappointed. The Ford GTs were in the opening scenes which made me somewhat optimistic but the flick just went straight downhill from there just like the Carerra GT they destroyed. Yeah, Nadia Bjorlin is a hottie and some of the cars were neat, but the movie was lame. BTW, it was only #11 at the box office last weekend pulling in a meager $4 million.
