Record 279.9 MPH Texas Mile Video

Once again we were able to make it passed the 278 MPH previous record at the Texas Mile last weekend. No doubt we wanted it much faster and in the video you will see where a lot was left at the starting line but still proud of the car that Ford built and and the folks at M2K for building such a great car.

Sounds unhappy unless wide open. Really get a sense of speed from the far shot.

The reason the car sounds the way it does down low is due to traction control knocking cylinders down to try and keep the power under control with the minimal amount of tire spin. Lots of people think it's missing out down low when in all actuality the calibrator has the car doing this on purpose..
