Rally VIII Non-car Event - Cooking Class

In the tradition of Rally VII at NOLA there will be a cooking class in Sonoma at Rally VIII. IndyGT's wife Jennifer started this great idea. My wife Heidi, with support from Jennifer, has arranged for a cooking class to be held on Wednesday September 4th at Ramekins in Sonoma. It's not far from the Fairmont. Here are some of the details: hands on class with professional chef staff, 3 course meal (prepared by you!), personalized recipe book, wine (picked by Heidi) & fun. It will be for 25 people. The first 23 checks for $180 made to Heidi Sims will be the participants (Heidi & Jennifer make 25). The fee includes the course/meal, wine, tax & tip. Transportation is up to the participants ( around 2 miles away).

Wednesday September 4th

• On-site breakfast
• The GT Guys LLC 2013 Ford GT National Rally Car Show on the grounds of the Fairmont SMI
• Group Departure to the Andretti Winery – Napa Valley
• Dinner at Andretti Winery

The Fairmont SMI breakfast and The GT Guy LLC car show will start around 9 AM and go until people are tired of checking out all the GTs and talking about cars. I'll get an exact time when I head out there in 14 days, but originally the hotel had planned on it being an 8 AM start, but I figured if we're shuffling around cars on the grounds to position them, we might ruin some people's vacations if we're doing it at 7 AM. A little wine country romance and 105 db exhaust. :lol

I just exchanged texts with Ed and the Ramekins class is likely 12-3 pm , which is perfect, because we won't be over at the Andretti Winery in Napa for dinner until 6:30-7 PM, so you'll miss nothing.

Heidi will know for sure the exact times this week but tentatively it is 11:00 - 2:00 or 2:30. The ladies can have breakfast, check out the car show & have plenty of time to get ready for dinner. I will post the confirmed times very soon.
