Chip's Party Info Needed


Gentlemen,

1. Please check the list below and make sure I have the number in your party correct. If I have a ? by your name I don't know if you have a +1 and if I have your # incorrect please post up and let me know.

2. I've got room for about 25 GT's on my property plus space for regular cars. It's a school night so I might not be able to use the school parking lot but I'm working on that. So let me know if you will be bringing a GT.

3. At my last GT Rally party we had about 20 crashers (I didn't know) who came in to eat and drink. I didn't find out until the next day but Peggy wasn't happy about that so this year I will employ a bouncer to check names. Please don't invite anyone who isn't attending the Rally and on this list unless I personally OK them. I had food for 15 extra people last time and we ran out which has never happened before. If someone "just shows up" they will be escorted out. Cool?

The turnout looks great (will be over 100 at game time) and we're going to have a great time! See you all soon!!! Cheers.

Gentlemen,

For the last 4 days I've been traveling with DBK all over central AZ setting up Rally 14. The amount of legwork, phone calls, emails, calculations, and spent brain cells Dave expends setting up these Rallies is mind numbing. He flew back to Michigan yesterday and with that put to bed I can focus on my next task.

I don't know how many times I've done this (starting with Rally II) but it's been a bunch. And every time I promise Peggy that I won't put her (or me!) through that again. Another pack of lies, I can't help myself, I'm going to do it again.

So if you can get out here a day early the "2024 Rally to the Rally Party" at Beck's Landing will start at 5:00 PM on Monday October 28. 5-Star cocktails, beer, & wine from the Teddy Roosevelt Bar, Fantastic BBQ and deserts from Honey Bear's, live music by master guitarist Thano Sahnas, Epic valet parking, cute blond bartenders (Alissa baby!), spectacular desert scenery, and sparkling conversation will all be here. The official Rally doesn't start until Tuesday evening and if you can't get here early don't sweat it, we'll have a great time without you. Most members have been to functions at my home before but for those who haven't, we don't spare the horses as the photos below indicate.

The great guys at Sanderson Ford will again partner with Peggy and me to host everybody. A big thank you to Sanderson Owner David Kimmerlee, Head Honcho Mark Witthar, and Master Tech Bryan Naylor who will all be on hand.

The morning after the party (Tuesday morning) at 9:30AM I'll lead a convoy of Ford GT's on a 45 minute drive from the Rally Hotel to Sanderson Ford where David Kimmerlee will take us on a tour of his incredible private car museum that is not open to the public. I've been going to Sanderson for decades and I've never seen it!! Bryan Naylor will answer GT service related questions and coffee, pastries, and who knows what else will be served. Afterward we'll convoy back to the Hyatt where you can relax and get ready for the opening night cocktail party.

If you intend to join us post up here so I'll know how many to plan for.

SO.......if you can get out here a day early......join us. Be there or be square.
