...with YOUR car in it, too! :lol It's OK to name names John - that was uh..., me at the wheel! I've been waiting a month to see this pic. Maybe I'm the first person to take four GT's "off road" at the same time! :biggrin

Lucky,

Some great pictures!!! Any chance of putting a total Rally disc together with a price? Maybe a Power Point Presentation?

For the second year in a row, our group from Phoenix unexpectedly met a very interesting gentleman enroute to the Rally.
Last year we met "Uncle Phil" Maloof

This year we met Tom Mitchell

Donnymac had recommended a truck stop east of Ozona, but he didn't tell me who we might find there! We'd intended a quick stop, but Tom's West Texas friendliness changed that! Read more about Tom in this link: http://www.nascar.com/2009/news/features/04/21/enterprise.circle.bar.racing.rcrawford/index.html

Left to right in the photo below are: GT38, JBG, Team Jeff, Tom Mitchell, Tim Cantwell, AZSTAD, and #6-GULFgt

Ha! I grew up with Uncle Phil! I hadn't read about this or seen the video. That link doesn't work so I will go searching but if you could fix it I would sure appreciate it!

I've got tons of Uncle Phil stories!

I'm sure you do!!! :lol It's too bad we didn't get together at the Rally, but I look forward to it sometime.

I fixed the bad link in the earlier post. You can also find the video here http://www.vimeo.com/album/79973/page:2 Photos of Uncle Phil are in the last part of the "Phoenix to Las Vegas" album of my Rally 3 photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/FordGTRally3.GT38

You were in the presence of a true west Texas class gentleman. Tom is a Texas icon for sure.

Here's a link to seven videos from Rally 4:

This year we met Tom Mitchell (L-R in the photo below are: GT38, JBG, Team Jeff, Tom Mitchell, Tim Cantwell, AZSTAD, and #6-GULFgt). Donnymac had recommended this truck stop, but he didn't tell me who we might find there! We'd intended a quick stop, but Tom's West Texas friendliness changed that! To find out more about Tom, watch our video of him in the first link above, and read about him in this link: http://www.nascar.com/2009/news/features/04/21/enterprise.circle.bar.racing.rcrawford/index.html

The other six videos on the Vimeo link include four from Texas World Speedway, and two from the Friday evening dinner - including Chip's tribute and toast to Bony. :cheers

I have a bunch more pics...just need to find a faster way to load them. The rain pics are from the trip from 427aggies (Dallas) to College Station. GT's do float by the way, and the last pic portrays our visibility on that trip. :willy:eek

Sign up for a free photobucket account.

Upload images to photobucket.

Cut and paste photobucket links into your regular Ford GT Forum thread posts.

That's what I do for all my photos. Really quite easy.

Will do...thanks.

Don't think there is a limit. I did about 30 in the technical section. You are limited to 5 per post. Means you just "reply" again with a new 5.
