Rally 9

We shouldn't have even given out a trophy for 3rd place. That's being the first loser to the first loser. Tell Lesley I said that (and cover up when doing so).

We are bringing our 1st loser trophy to Rally 9. It is one of the few things we own that Camilo hasn't signed. We also need him to sign our stuff that Carroll Shelby signed.

If I am ever asked to list the highlights of my life, Pre-Rally, Rally and Post-Rally 8 will be right up there. It was world class. No...that is too weak. It was cosmic class. :biggrin

Glad you liked the Rally Gary! (And the pre/post get togethers as well. We too had a great time.)

As you saw they are pretty amazing. And the rallys just keep getting better each year which is hard to believe!

We'll be out late on the 17th, which will assuredly spill over until the early hours of the 18th. I bill it as ending the Saturday so there is no confusion that you will need a room on the Friday evening or you will end up sleeping in your car after a long night, possibly with Camilo.

If the GT was higher you could sleep under it. It it had seat backs that would recline enough you could sleep in it. How does Camilo do it?

When he used to drive to the Keys over the winter, he'd sleep on the beach using the GT for lodging. Open the door as wide as it will go, use it as the main support in a tent structure. Not kidding.

There are many bad things that can happen when a vehicle gets the 'green light' for a continuation. Fortunately, the Camilo 'camper version' of the GT was not approved for production.

So for the track, is it going to be Spring Mountain or LVMS? What track configuration is going to be used? For Spring Mountain I like the 2.4 and 3.1 layouts.

My son and I rented some bikes and rode out to a little biker bar in the Red Rock Hills West of LV for his 21st B/day 7 yrs ago.....does anyone know if it's still there?....may be a cool "Thirst Aid" spot being only a half hr from town.
