Rally 9 - Pics and Vids

Here is a photoshop panorama of the cars parked in the loop at the Lake Mead stop



It has a little banding where the sky exposure wasn't quite right but I don't have time to fix it up right now.

Yes, it has been open for a year at least maybe two. You can't see anything from the bridge in a vehicle but there is a walkway access from the lower level. I don't know if you have to climb a bunch of stairs or if there is an elevator.

10-4 on water level... I've never seen it this low.

On the Tuesday drive some of the shots my wife took with the window up since I was, well, er, driving... I'll keep her anyway. She at least overcame the fear of the camera.

Well I am glad.Ok not glad thrilled that my good buddy Brian AKA Stormcat or as Dr Frank renamed him last year Stormkitty,has made it to the rally.His keen sense of humor is evidenced by the pictures!
And yes the women here are so nice!

Great photos..wish it would have worked into my schedule this year.....
 
I take all of my photos in raw format and then resize them for uploading and posting. If anyone sees one they want just hover over the photo and you'll see the photobucket link, which will contain a DSC_nnnn. Send me the post number and image number and I'll get you a full sized JPG.

Have fun on the drive today. I have a few things to do this afternoon and then I'm going to wrap my car with blue tape.

It was a GReAT VaLLEY OF FirE drive this afternoon.

Nice straights and full sweepers.

Ask GT Guy Rich about the fun roller coaster hills and valleys right before the entrance.
