Your GT should already have one in the boot. I'd just use that one & drape/secure plastic sheeting of some kind over it to keep it from getting saturated in a downpour. :cheers

'Not much protection in a Texas HAIL STORM, though! :rofl

geez Mr. MT pockets,
your senility getting worse. Rally V is in Virginia this year.

We had Rally IV in Texas LAST year. And No hail either!

TACHY - you might want to "make a deal" with your GT delivery service. Maybe they could follow you around to the Rally V events, so you always have covered inside parking.

'Fully aware of those facts, Oh Bald One. 'Was simply trying to illustrate that a car cover doesn't provide protection against ALL weather conditions...yeeeeeeew mizzerbull ol' goat!

I will be staying at the track as well for at least the first day along with others who have indicated this preference. Just makes sense to maximize our VIR experience and avoid the early morning hour and a half drive for the drivers meeting.

:tap: Please 'splain to us, Oh Mystic One, how a std car cover can keep a car dry in a lengthy downpour WITHOUT a plastic sheet placed over the top of it. The "waterproof" 'covers I've had WEREN'T when it came to downpours. There were ALWAYS "soak thru" areas on the darn things. :tongue :slap :biggrin

(Edit: Who told you about the floor mats I put over my floor mats? :skep)

I will probably stay at the Track also. Motorhome and enclosed car trailer.

Are there hook-ups nearby? We might be doing the same! :)
