So far exterior base colors seen in public are Liquid Blue, Liquid Silver, Liquid Red, tri-coat yellow, satin black, white. Because there are more caliper colors and interior color options than 05/06, when you add in all the other options there are going to be tons of 1 of 1 cars.

Even though I came late to the GT party in 2009, you would be hard pressed to find anyone else in Louisiana more passionate and enthusiastic about the GT than me. 4 straight Rally's, acquired Blue Moon as a second GT, Brought the whole family to Rally 12, Drove it from Louisiana to Dearborn (thanks Frank), and bringing the whole family to Daytona for the race. So if Ford sends 1 car to Louisiana....okay, there. I have played my "squeaky wheel gets the oil" card.:lol:lol:lol:facepalm:

Satin black? I've seen some other cars in that color (or variations of matte/flat). The pictures don't do it justice. I recall an Aston Martin and boy it looked sharp. My recollection was that the color shows fingerprints though. I'm afraid it would trigger my black paint OCD.

mmm.... I'm not a huge fan of Matte or Satin paint on cars, I would love to see it in Gloss Black though (with white or silver stripes, optional).

Like you, I like the white (needs some accents though), but so far, I think the car looks best in metallics. I can't wait to see what they choose for the Chicago Auto Show. :biggrin

Sinister! Had a black / silver stripe GT and swore I'd never own another black car, beautiful when clean but a bit difficult to keep that way.

This black is a whole new ballgame.

This car is ungodly gorgeous in any color. I only hope I get a chance at one before the run is done...

I read a post on the internet that Ford announced the price for the new Ford GT. Initially it was speculated to sell $350-400,000. So I thought I would surprise my wife with a home equity loan withdrawal to subsidize the buy.
Now they apparently officially announced it at $600,000.
Do you think my wife will be pissed off if I sell the house? (With my luck she would start divorce proceedings. Then I will be out a wife, house and car or are the priorities reversed, and it should be car first, house second, wife third?)

Ford has made no such announcement. The sources of those are always on the "almost always unreliable sources" network. When the real announcement is made you'll hear about it here, trust me

IMO Stripeless, definitely stripeless. Maybe in year 4 though there'll be a "Heritage" paint option with the 2016 Le Mans R-W-B color scheme?? And as well sorted out as things may be in year 1, there's always something to improve on if you give an engineer time and money (or tweak like the clamshell latches & grille on the 06's) especially with a clean-sheet design like this, so I'm betting that the last year will end up being the ones to have. Another reason to procrastinate!

Liquid blue with the bronze wheels from that satin black car would kick ass, specially with a bronzey/tan interior (I'm old school on colours, satins always make me think "I wonder when they'll finish painting it?")
