Well, have my Forward 4 poster in place and it's the bomb. Problem is the stock ramps. The angle of approach is far too high coming into contact with the splitter. The Ford is factory height and when I use the Race Ramp calculation to determine angle of approach, it appears I need a ramp with less than 9.5 degree angle of approach. Race Ramps have several types ranging from 8 to 6.4 degrees angle of approach. Can anyone give me some idea of which ramp would work best?

When my lift is at lowest I can lift up the thin edge of the ramp and align some stepped ply that I built (about 48") and roll the GT up with easy clearance
I align them so when I place front wheel right over left ply ramp I have alignment to the main deck
My 4 post is a extra wide set up so I have no post clearance issues thats why the ply is sitting on the inside of ramp

Thank you both. Yes, I am considering the extra wide RR mentioned above but appreciate the option of using the stock ramps with extensions. Extra wide RR is attractive given that the rear tire section width is 12.4".
I have 2 sets of these (2 piece 74"), i land the lift on the ramp, and infill with a piece of wood. We also use them to load in trailers when the truck is still connected (tongue not raised up)

The two-piece version is designed such that you may be able to use only the initial section of the ramp at times.

If you have the ability and desire you could make your own from wood. With the 4 large rubber 'feet' at the edge of my trailer's tailgate where it contacts the ground, I felt like none of the Race Ramps would fit properly. So I made the set below for the cost of a 4'x8' sheet of 3/4" thick Advantech subflooring, two spruce 2x6's and some screws; ~$75 (might paint them, not sure; Advantech is water resistant). I just couldn't justify $500-600 for ramps that at best wouldn't be quite right, and possibly wouldn't work at all without me having to finagle them. These weigh 32.4 lbs ea.
^^^ that is exactly what I do with the Race Ramps, but I have 2 4x4's screwed together, that sit under the rubber pads raising the trailer door. The extra flip down ramp lands perfectly on the Tow style race ramps. Your ramps are very nice and well done! Only advantage of the Race Ramps, are they are 2 pieces, and lighter.

Not sure they still offer this, but I had Race Ramps make a custom set that splits into sections allowing them to nest within the lift runways for storage.
