Do you drive them all or do you pick one to drive regularly and leave the others sit? I'm trying to rationalize getting another, specifically a white/blue!:thumbsup

I think you could do either:

1) drive one and keep one low miles as an investment. Remember though that these cars need to be driven a little. Sitting in the garage does them no good, unless it is seen as a museum piece.

2) Keep one stock and mod the other to your exact liking.

3) Keep one stock, Mod the other for street, mod the 3rd one for the ultimate track car :banana

Is having multiple GT's like polygamy and bygamy?

Does one get jealous?

:shrug:willy:slap

Let's leave this to our pontificating Pockets !

"Haaaaaaarumph... Ah hummmm...Yaaaaass", said Pockets as he approached the podium ... loosening his tie ... and taking a swig of water before proceeding...

"I have no clue whatsoever", he said. "Good day."

"You NEVER have a clue, Pockets", replied the audience. "'Glad it's finally dawned on you."

jdoc7 I think it is a combiantion of 1 and 2 as posted by 911teo. In my case it is and probably more of 1 than 2. I know many here say its a poor investment, but in Canada with such low numbers up here, only 277, it has a better chance than in the US.

Love the car, so one is to just to sit in case something happens to the first one - tough life, having a back up GT :thumbsup

First is modded, second is stock.

A garage queen may be a good financial investment at the moment, but it is more of a sanity investment for yourself. If someone creams your first car, you still have one - one that is yours. A couple of years from now you would need to accept one with some miles - still low mile cars now.

I guess it is a GT owner satisfaction / protection plan.

I plan to drive both of mine. I'm working on various projects so one always seems to be apart for testing pieces or project evaluation. That's how I justify having two , one to drive and one to work on !!!

I also agree with AZGT's comments. It's nice to know you've got a back up !!!

I thougt by having two.

I would trick one out and leave one stock. But the tricked one was so much
more fun, well you know the rest.I even got a motor and transaxle new for
back up how sick is that.

I use my Tungsten on and off during the week (shares time with my other cars) and my GTX1 Chrome red sometimes during weekends when the weather is nice.

They are 2 totally different cars.

I am not sure I would own 2 that were exactly the same. Maybe what Gforce said in his post is the ticket..... you can start modding one and that is your justification for having two...

Yes, easier to beg for forgiveness then to ask for permission

There was once a radio talk show host in SF that often said that on his show. Now he is off the air, because he has been indicted for child porn! I think he is asking for forgiveness now.

If I ever get the opertunity the wife wants her own. She want the opposite colors silver with black stripes which would look pretty cool side by side.

Maybe someday when the market gets somewhat back to normal.
Been thinking of selling my patent and retiring......but then what would I do?

I started listing parts that I thought I might need in the future when Ford starts to obsolete parts for this car. After the list got to two pages, I decided it would be cheaper to buy a second car and tell the wife it's for spare parts.

That's only partly a joke.:lol

But to answer your question, I drive one regularly ( the modified one) and leave the other alone. Just 300 miles in over a year.

I like to think of it as the "Pony Express Syndrome". Run your mount into the ground but have a fresh spare ready to go at all times.:thumbsup
